BHU CHS Admission 2025 offers opportunities for students to secure admission in Class 6, 9, and 11 at Central Hindu Boys’ School (CHBS) & Central Hindu Girls’ School (CHGS). Admission will be conducted through the School Entrance Test (SET) 2025 and the E-Lottery System. Eligible candidates can apply online within the specified dates.

Age Limit for BHU CHS Admission 2025
For School Entrance Test (SET-2025)
- Class IX: 13 to 15 years as on 31-03-2025
(Date of birth should not be before 31-03-2010 and after 31-03-2012).
*Child born on 1st April 2012 will also be considered.* - Class XI: Maximum age of 18 years as on 31-03-2025
(Date of birth should not be before 31-03-2007).
For E-Lottery Admission (Bal Vatika & Class I, VI)
- Bal Vatika-2 (LKG): 4 to 5 years as on 31-03-2025
(Date of birth should not be before 31-03-2020 and after 31-03-2021). - Bal Vatika-3 (Nursery): 5 to 6 years as on 31-03-2025
(Date of birth should not be before 31-03-2019 and after 31-03-2020). - Class I: 6 to 8 years as on 31-03-2025
(Date of birth should not be before 31-03-2017 and after 31-03-2019). - Class VI: 10 to 12 years as on 31-03-2025
(Date of birth should not be before 31-03-2013 and after 31-03-2015).
Special Consideration: Children born on April 1st of the respective year are also eligible.

Selection Process for BHU CHS Admission 2025
For School Entrance Test (SET-2025) – Class IX & XI
- Written Entrance Exam: Candidates will have to appear for the BHU SET-2025 exam as per their selected class and stream.
- Merit List Preparation: Based on marks obtained in the entrance test, a merit list will be prepared for each class.
- Tie-Breaking Criteria: If two or more candidates have the same marks, preference will be
given as follows:
- For Class IX – Candidate older in age will be preferred.
- For Class XI – Merit will be determined by Class X board exam marks, followed by subject-specific marks if needed.
- Counselling & Document Verification: Selected candidates will have to attend counselling and
verify their documents.
For E-Lottery Admission – Bal Vatika & Class I, VI
- E-Lottery Process: Admissions for LKG (Bal Vatika-2), Nursery (Bal Vatika-3), Class I, and Class VI will be conducted through an electronic lottery system.
- Category-Wise Allocation: The lottery system will first allocate seats to BHU employee wards, Divyang (OH) candidates, and then to General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and EWS categories.
- Waiting List: If seats remain vacant, candidates from the waiting list will be considered.
- Final Selection: Selected candidates must complete document verification and fee payment to
confirm admission.
