Age Limit for Agniveervayu Recruitment 2026

Eligibility Criteria for Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2026

Science Subjects

• Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
  
  
• OR Passed a three-year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) from a recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English (in Diploma or 10+2, if English was not a subject in the Diploma Course).
  
  
• OR Passed a two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects such as Physics and Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English (in Vocational Course or 10+2, if English was not a subject).
  
  

Other Than Science Subjects

• Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination in any stream/subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Selection Process for Agniveer Vayu Exam 2025

The selection process for Agniveervayu Recruitment 2026 involves the following phases:

The salary structure for Agniveervayu under the Agnipath Scheme is as follows:

• 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month (In-hand: ₹21,000, Contribution to Seva Nidhi: ₹9,000, Government Contribution: ₹9,000).
  
  
• 2nd Year: ₹33,000 per month (In-hand: ₹23,100, Contribution to Seva Nidhi: ₹9,900, Government Contribution: ₹9,900).
