IDBI PGDBF 2025-26 offers a great opportunity for young graduates to start a career in banking. The program includes a 1-year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF), consisting of 6 months of classroom training, 2 months of internship, and 4 months of on-the-job training at IDBI Bank branches/offices.
Candidates who successfully complete the course will be appointed as Junior Assistant Manager (Grade 'O') at IDBI Bank. The selection process includes an online test followed by a personal interview. The program is conducted in partnership with Manipal Global Education (Bengaluru) and Nitte Education International (Greater Noida).

Salary Details for IDBI Bank Junior Assistant Manager 2025
Stipend During Training & Internship:
- During Classroom Training (6 months): ₹5,000 per month
- During Internship (2 months): ₹15,000 per month
Salary After Joining as Junior Assistant Manager:
- CTC: ₹6.14 Lakh to ₹6.50 Lakh per annum (for Class A cities).
- Grade: Junior Assistant Manager (Grade ‘O’).

Selection Process for IDBI PGDBF 2025-26
1. Online Examination:
- The first stage of selection is an Online Test conducted by IDBI Bank.
- The test will be objective-type (MCQs) and divided into the following sections:
- Logical Reasoning, Data Analysis & Interpretation: 60 Questions – 60 Marks
- English Language: 40 Questions – 40 Marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 40 Questions – 40 Marks
- General/Economy/Banking Awareness: 60 Questions – 60 Marks
- Each wrong answer will have a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
- The total duration of the test is 120 minutes.
2. Personal Interview (PI):
- Candidates who qualify the online test will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI).
- The interview will carry 100 marks, and candidates must score a minimum of:
- 50% marks (for General & EWS candidates).
- 45% marks (for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates).
- Candidates can choose to give the interview in Hindi or English.
3. Final Selection & Merit List:
- The final selection will be based on a combined merit list of the Online Test (75%) and Interview (25%).
- Selected candidates will undergo a 1-year PGDBF program (6 months classroom + 2 months internship + 4 months OJT).
- After successful completion of training, candidates will be appointed as Junior Assistant Manager (Grade 'O').
