Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Primary Teacher level, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Special Education.
• Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Additionally, candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at the Matriculation level or higher.

To qualify for the TGT level, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or a B.Ed. with relevant teaching subjects.
• For Social Studies: B.A./B.Com with specific subjects like History, Political Science, or Geography.
• For Science: B.Sc. with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics.

Candidates must also have Hindi or Sanskrit in their Matriculation or higher education.

To qualify for the PGT level, candidates must have the following:

• A Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks.
• A B.Ed. degree or equivalent qualification.

Additionally, Hindi or Sanskrit at Matriculation or higher is required for all applicants.
