Eligibility Criteria for Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification:
- Executive Branch (GS(X)/ Hydro Cadre): BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Pilot: BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. Must have 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.
- Naval Air Operations Officer (Observer): BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. Must have 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.
- Air Traffic Controller (ATC): BE/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. Must have 60% marks in English in Class X or XII.
- Logistics: BE/B.Tech with First Class OR MBA with First Class OR B.Sc./B.Com/B.Sc.(IT) with First Class + PG Diploma in Finance/Logistics OR MCA/M.Sc (IT) with First Class.

Pay Scale:
- Selected candidates will be commissioned as Sub Lieutenant (SLt) in the Indian Navy.
- Basic Pay: ₹56,100 per month (as per 7th Pay Commission, Pay Level-10).
- Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹15,500 per month.
- Other Allowances: Based on duty location and branch, candidates will receive additional
allowances like:
- Flying Allowance (for Pilots & Observers): ₹31,250 per month.
- Submarine Allowance (for Submarine Specialization): ₹13,500 per month.
- Diving Allowance (for Hydro Cadre): ₹10,500 per month.

Selection Process for Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2026
1. Shortlisting of Applications:
- Shortlisting will be based on normalized marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
- For BE/B.Tech candidates – Marks obtained up to the 5th semester will be considered.
- For Post-Graduate candidates (M.Sc/M.Tech/MBA/MCA) – Marks of all semesters will be considered.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their SSB interview via email/SMS.
2. SSB Interview:
- SSB (Services Selection Board) Interview will be conducted in two stages:
- Stage 1: Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) test, Picture Perception, and Group Discussion (PPDT).
- Stage 2: Psychological Test, Group Tasks, and Personal Interview.
- SSB Interview will be held at Bhopal, Bangalore, Visakhapatnam, and Kolkata.
- Only candidates who qualify Stage 1 will proceed to Stage 2.
- Medical Examination will be conducted for candidates clearing SSB.
3. Medical Examination:
