Indian Navy SSR (Medical) Recruitment 2025–26 offers an excellent opportunity for unmarried male candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. This recruitment is for the Medical Assistant posts in the Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR) category for 02/2025 & 02/2026 batches.
The selection process includes the INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test), Physical Fitness Test (PFT), written examination, and recruitment medical examination. State-wise shortlisting will be done based on INET scores. Final selection will depend on performance in all stages and medical fitness.

- For SSR (Medical) 02/2025 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Sep 2004 to 29 Feb 2008 (both dates inclusive).
- For SSR (Medical) 02/2026 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Jul 2005 to 31 Dec 2008 (both dates inclusive).
- Note: Candidates born between 01 Sep 2004 and 31 Dec 2008 are eligible to apply for INET 2025. Final batch allocation will depend on actual date of birth.

Salary Details for Indian Navy SSR (Medical) Recruitment 2025–26
Pay Scale:
- During initial training, a monthly stipend of ₹14,600 will be provided.
- After training, candidates will be placed in Pay Matrix Level 3: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 per month.
- In addition, Military Service Pay (MSP) of ₹5,200 per month + applicable DA will also be paid.

Selection Process for Indian Navy SSR (Medical) Recruitment 2025–26
- Stage I – INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test):
- Computer-based test with 100 objective questions (1 mark each).
- Subjects: English, Science, Biology, and General Awareness.
- Duration: 1 Hour. Medium: Hindi & English.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Qualifying in each section and overall is mandatory.
- Stage II – Shortlisting:
- Shortlisting based on INET scores (state-wise cut-off).
- In case of tie, preference will be given to older candidates by Date of Birth.
- Exemption for NCC 'C' & Sponsor Candidates:
- Direct call-up for Stage II, no INET required.
- Original certificates must be uploaded and verified.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- 1.6 Km Run in 6 min 30 sec
- 20 Squats (Uthak Baithak), 15 Push-ups, 15 Bent Knee Sit-ups
- PFT is mandatory and done at candidate’s own risk.
- Stage II – Written Exam:
- Only for those who qualify PFT.
- 100 MCQs – English, Science, Biology, General Awareness (10+2 level).
- Duration: 1 Hour. Medium: Hindi & English.
- Qualifying marks to be decided by Indian Navy.
- Recruitment Medical Examination:
- Only for those who clear PFT.
- Medically fit candidates are considered for final merit.
- Option to appeal medical unfitness at designated military hospitals within 5 days.
- Merit List & Final Selection:
- Based on performance in written exam, PFT, and medical exam.
- Separate merit lists for 02/2025 and 02/2026 batches.
- Final selection state-wise as per merit and availability.
- Pre-Enrolment Medical at INS Chilka:
- Mandatory for all provisionally selected candidates.
- Only those who are medically fit will be inducted.
