NTA CSIR UGC NET December 2024 provides an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to qualify for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professorship. Age Limit for NTA CSIR UGC NET Exam December 2024


  1. Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): Maximum age: 28 years as of the application closing date.

  2. Age Relaxation:
    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
    • SC/ST/PwD/Women: 5 years

  3. Assistant Professorship (Lectureship): No upper age limit.

  1. Admit Card: Admit card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.

  2. Pen: A simple transparent Ball Point Pen.

  3. Photograph: Additional photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) to be pasted on the attendance sheet in the examination Room/Hall.

  4. Authorized Photo ID: Any one of the following (must be original, valid, and non-expired):
    • College Identity Card with photograph
    • PAN Card
    • Driving License
    • Voter ID
    • Passport
    • Aadhaar Card (with photograph)
    • E-Aadhaar with photograph
    • Ration Card with photograph
    • Bank Passbook with photograph

  5. PwBD Certificate: PwBD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer, if claiming the relaxation under the PwBD category.

  6. Water Bottle: Personal transparent water bottle.

  7. For Diabetic Candidates: Sugar tablets/fruits (like banana, apple, or orange).
